Me and my music. Celtic Chill is a personal project I put together at the beginning of 2007. After playing many years in various rock bands including one of the Top Floyd tribute bands "Think Floyd", I decided that I wanted to get back to my Celtic, World and Ambient roots to play the music and the sounds which still inspire and lift me onto another level. I am a single dad and my biggest inspiration is my 13 year old son. The track "Dove" taken from my first CD release "Beyond the Mist" was written for him when he was 4 years old. It still is to this day the most precious and personal piece of music I have written. I released 2 CD's in 2007 the second entitled "The Big Dream". Both CD's are available as downloads from iTunes, Napster etc. Alternatively you can purchase the CD's from CD Baby or direct from myself. Just navigate over to the links page for further information. I work from my studio here in Wales which is just having the finishing touches put to it for commercial recording projects. My creativity comes and goes and I guess I am my biggest critic in the process. Things could always be better mixed, played, produced etc, but there comes a time when you just have to go with the best you can accomplish otherwise nothing would ever be completed. I have composed for a variety of media projects including TV, radio etc and currently have a selection of original music available for licensing in film and other media projects. Nowadays between a full time job and being a full time parent I can only grab a few hours a week for composing music. I wouldn't have it any other way. It is such a joy being a parent and to be teaching my son the basics of music and recording as well as enjoying the other things in life that parenting brings. That is a little bit about me.
